The reason, because our system sucks, Americas going down hill and if you're not a millionaire, no one cares!!! Nobody cares abou working people anymore, just think how rough I have it, my entire generation, we can't even find a job tht pays enough to live off of anymore.

3 weeks is a long time? Dream-on. While being without cash flow even a week hurts, 3 weeks is not unreasonable for everything to be processed, especially since generally the must contact your employer to ensure you did get fired or quit. I've been there it sucks having no income, but 3 weeks is reasonable, and shorter time frame then a lot of other programs.

Even in America nothing is fast. The only thing you can count on is death and taxes. Nobody cares how good a worker you were or anything. You can lose your house and still it goes at its own pace. Then you have to worry about paying for medical, rent, utilities and food.

Thirty plus years I worked on three different jobs I used less then 8 weeks between the jobs. After the last job I applied for unemployment I sit there waiting as the man in front of me talked the lady. "My job of painting will be over in two days." he tells her. "And how long did you work?" she asks. "About three weeks." "Well you apply at two places to get your money." Now its my turn, after more then ten years on the job she tells me "You need three interviews." Not just to apply but interviews. I know this does not help but don't feel alone.

The reason they make it take so long is because they want you to go find another job. They don't care that it pays less that what you made.
