Is radical Islam going to be the cause of another world war?

Look at the middle east people...
In Gaza, the government was dissolved because the two ruling parties, Hamas and Fatah, were given control over Gaza and instead of being civilized, decided to kill eachother.
In Lebanon, Islamic radicals are holded up in a refugee camp fighting the Lebanese army.
Iraq is a bloody mess with Sunni and Shiite extremists killing civillians by the busload every day.
Iran, which has its fingerprints all over the latter two scenarios, is developing nuclear technology whilst calling for the destruction of Israel and America.

The US is the only country that seems to think this is a problem. The Europeans, even after Madrid and London, are clueless, and are willing to appease the extremists (sound familiar? ala the 1930's)?

for people that don't get the 1930's thing, while Hitler was taking over countries and sending jews to death camps, the Europeans kept saying, ohhhhh, we'll really think about doing something if you don't stop! and of course, Hitler didn't stop.

Probably not, I say this because they (the terrorist) are now embedded into every society. You have no clear target. They do not care to kill their own, nor how many are killed. Bit by bit through "homegrown terrorism" they will gain contol of the govering bodies through intimadation. Look at spain, spain was a leader in the war on terror, al-quida bombed the trains, and told them to get your troops out or else, so they did, England is falling very quicky, now they have stoped teaching about the hollocaust because it "offends" muslims.
A world wide war will most likly not happen untill the end, and at that one , they (the nations of the earth) will be attacking Isreal.

There's not going to be world wide war like WWII or WWI. If there is one it will probably be the last. There's too many nukes on this planet. And too many trying to obtain one. Or more.

Problem with radical Islam is more of 'clash of culture' and this sort of clashes had happened before as many historians point out.

There's lot of animosity between Muslims and Western World. They really don't see eye to eye. Have very, extremely different views of the world. It is this clash of culture that brews up radical Islamism.

And there are very few or almost 0 people will say that this is precursor to third world war.

Radical Islamic belief exists in nearly all continents. Middle East, Europe, Asia, America, and those Indonesian Islands...etc

This ideology is not exclusive to 1 or 2 country. Your neighbor might be one far as I'm concerned.

In a word- yes. You must realize that there is no talking to or reasoning with these people. The purpose of their religion is to convert -by the sword. Those that will not convert are considered less than human and are to be killed. Unless there is a strong people willing to understand that terrorism is a tactic and that Radical Muslims are at war with us, we will continue to be their target.

I don't think they'll necessarily be the cause of another world war.. I think our type of reactions to them will be cause for concern.
If you get a chance to read the book "All the Shah's Men" by Steven Kinzer, read it because it shows why they do what they do and where it stems from. We must understand our enemies before we involve ourselves, not after.
It's a must read for any American who wonders why they do what they do and where does all that hate come from. My reading group read it two years ago (at the recommendation of one of the members who's a retired General) and we still talk about it.
