I am taking care of my science teachers snake 4 the summer but it fell out of my hands while I was walking and before I coud grab it, he went under a bookcase!! How should I get him?!?

I am assuming it's not a poisonous snake...I hope. Block off all exits to the room...snakes can climb, however, so make sure you block the room off so he can't climb over the barracade and get into another room. DO NOT move the bookcase, or you might squash him. Place his cage with door open in front of the bookcase, with food in the cage. He will likely come out on his own. Do you have a net or pillow case you can slide him into if you see him slither across the floor? If not, I would call the vet or wild life society in the morning and ask for assistance.

I would just reach under the bookcase very gently grab it. Firmly but gently coax it out. That is just me, I've been doing stuff like that for some 30 years. Obviously it's not venomous and if it does bite it won't really hurt. Just be gentle and remember it is more afraid of you than you are of it!! ;-}

Loose snake in the house? That's cool.
Remember, snakes will seek out warm, dark places at night, like in a bed. Sleep well tonight.
At least your house will be rodent-free while it's on the loose.

calm down i have lost and found almost all of my pets in my house and yesterday i lost my skink and it wint under a book case so what you do is -
call in your brothers,sisters,mom,dad any one or everyone in your house and then start buy maybe u or 1 other person take the books of the shelf and then when it is empty u or your dad/mom lifts it up and then someone grabs the snake .
the more ppl. surrounding the area the safer .

Mine have done this lots of times. If it's still under there, block off all the possible exit routes, then grab it. If it's not there, it will show up eventually.

I would keep looking for him. Try making hissing sounds. That may work. If not, make sure nobody lets him out! If you can't find him, tell your teacher the truth and offer to buy another one. Be sure to appologize. You may still have a chance of finding it though.

just move the book case and make sure you find him as soon as possible and close the room he's in or he'll get out and snakes are really fuucking hard to find, anyways dont be afraid of it, it wont bite you unless your start beating it or something

Grab something like a clothes hanger and stick it under there and pull him out gently.
