If you're sincere in trying to be a better husband and father, then you just need to keep putting in the effort. She may be suspicious at first, and that's her right. After all, you can't wipe away years of bad behavior with a few days of good behavior! The only thing that will work is to prove yourself over time.

I don't think you've fallen out of love with her. You've fallen out of love with yourself. Hard financial times are the reality for many and on the horizon for the rest of us. We can't all LOSE it now! Now is the time to stick with the ones you love and realize that the people in your life are wayyy more important than your paycheck and investments. Let her know how you feel and be the man. Make a plan for your family. Realize that as long as you basic needs are being met, and you have love for each other, you can continue to have a happy life. If your wife comes from a hard background, she probably knows whats most important. Listen to her. Work together to build a new life if the old one isn't there anymore. This is something we're all going to have to do. We have to change our vision of what success is and get back to basics. Success to me is a happy, well balanced family who loves each other. Not a bunch of material things. Good luck :)

It just takes time. She'll soon regain the trust back.Just don't kiss up to her so much, you don't have to be mean, thats when you, just keep things short but cool with her. Then she might wonder, hmm... he's acting real cool with me and the kids and but he ain't acting all lovey dovey, so then she will be all up on you then thats when you really break it down and let her know u ain't kissin' butt you just was trying to show that you was trying to be a better husband and tell her to just sit back and try to lighten up and put some trust in you

Are you kissing butt and being fake? I guess all you can do is talk to her and reassure her. Make sure you are doing genuine things to improve yourself. It might take her time to believe you after screwing it up for so long. Just keep at it and maybe she'll come around.

She's lost trust in you. It takes a long time to get that back. Keep at it. You will gain her trust back little by little. She's waiting to see if this is just a short term thing or if you a really going to be better for a lifetime.
Hang in there.

continue to prove to her that you are sincere and if she doesn't believe you then that is her problem. If you have been a liar and fake in the past this may take awhile for her to believe that you are sincere this time. Good luck.

She doesn't trust you. You have to be real about the changing of your ways. If you truly are changing she will eventually believe it. Just don't sluff off back to the bad again.

Just don't try too hard and be nice and not well bad like you were. Basically relax and hang in there. What is meant to be will be.

It takes time to prove that you're trying to be a better person.....you have to give her time to believe you.
Actions speak much louder than words.
