My daughter is 5'10 and a major televised shopping network wants her to Model for them...However when she was in 4th grade she needed surgery on her broken arm..It really left two large scars, if you were a Viewer would it turn you Off, or would you be pleased that the company could over look that and see her True Beauty.....

I would be pleased because I know that this girl is someone who is just naturally beautiful. Scars make people interesting because behind each scar, there is a story as to how it appeared and that story is a part of that person's life. I don't think many people are going to judge someone's beauty on something as silly as a scar. If they do, shame on them because most everyone in this world has a scar from something.

i would keep it on=] Who cares about a couple of scars, and if ur daughter really wants to do this then i think its a great way for her to show her unique beauty and let the world see it too. What im trying to say is who cares about a couple little scars, that doesnt matter, and if some body else thought it did then they dont matter. I hopr ur daughter enjoys it... Thank you and tel ur daughter i said good luck

Go for it she should be secure enough to do this and a few scars would be no big deal & if they were visable then I would feel a lot of compassion tward her like can I kiss it better!!! BTW it would take quite a long time before I would even see the scars my eyes would be elsewhere!!! Just being honest I am a guy after all!!

Sometimes your body scars make you look attractive and there is nothing wrong with it. Also, its hard for people to find the scurs in the camera, after all the makeup and airbrushing.
I think its an amazing opporunity and she should go for it without worrying.

By the time anyone notices the scars on your daughters arm- they're going to already have formed an opinion about her- based on her personality. So stop worrying about it- support her & wish her luck. She'll be fine. :)

I wouldn't care about her scars at all. I don't think anyone worth mentioning would.
