Cowherd is a riot and listening to his show stimulates the brain a little, while Rome's show kills brain cells. I mean, who wants to listen to all of these idiot clones, who have no lives whatsoever, give their stupid "takes." It's funny for about a week, but then it gets too juvenile after awhile.

Give me Cowherd any day of the week. Rome's schtick has gotten stale after all these years. In fact, I listened to The Herd this morning on ESPN Radio, and it was the first time in a long time that a radio host made me laugh out loud.

Herd, all the way. Rome is a very tired act. You cant even go 10 minutes without him talking about his "man crush" on Vic in NoCal! Colin gets it! Listen to the show and you get a laugh, and an opinion! He's also not gonna give you one of those stupid fake laughs after an interview or a caller! You suck Rome!

Jim Rome. Personally I find Cowherd annoying: voice attitude and I don't find him interesting enough to care about the details of his life.
Rome keeps it in the balance for the most part and doesn't seem to take himself all that seriously.

I've heard both, and really don't care for either. I prefer Dan Patrick during his Big Show hour with Keith Olbermann (when KO is not trying to "save the democracy") or Tony Kornheiser's radio show (especially when they start talking about the Animal Revolution).

I like them both.....but Jim Rome's show is the only one I go out of my way to listen to. His radio show is the absolute best there is.
