I said no high and lofty ideas for when I ask these types of question, people tend to give out lofty answers to make them selves look good. I wanted to prevent that. However if you do believe in a higher ideal, then it ok to say so.

Health. You never realize how important it is till you don't have it. All the rest is meaningless without it!!!!
Of course you need money to survive, you need women to procreate. You need determination to follow your dreams to feel accomplished. Religion, and family help you cope with all the ups, and downs of life. So I would say they are all important. But if you don't have health, you can't work at a job or a career. So how can you make money? You don't have the strength, or depending on what your illness is to procreate. You can't follow any of your dreams, you can only dream. Religion is the only thing you are left with. But are you well enough to attend services?

So I reiterate, HEALTH IS THE MOST IMPORTANT.

It is important to be honest, sincere, charitable, and to give of yourself. Truth to tell, there are so many things that are important. One cannot really have a meaningful life without all of the above, and then some.

What is important in life?
J - O - Y. Jesus, Others, Yourself.
On your deathbed are you going to regret not having spent more time with your friends and family or...not having spent more time at work earning a couple of extra dollars.
The richest man in the world is the man who had more friends than he had money.

Sadly, the most important thing in life is pleasure.

If I could say it was pleasure, but not at the expense of your fellow man (or woman), then that would be excellent.

Money to afford whatever you want and live in comfort and pleasure. Women for sexual pleasure. Taking pleasure in accomplishing your dreams. Pleasure in your family. Pleasure in religion to know there is more. Pleasure of being in love.

This world is pleasure driven... it just seems like we do almost anything to one another for many of them.

The people who surround you. If they are honest, true and capable of love, you will never be lonely. I love my family and friends. They know how to make me laugh, and they know when I want to be alone. Friendship is one of the best things life can offer.

Self-control.

When we accept that we can choose our beliefs, choose our thoughts and choose our emotional responses, a new type of life becomes possible and actual.
