This link pretty much sums it up! http://www.vdare.com/Sailer/bush_thinking.htm EDIT:To Mark M - I would never disrespect you BECAUSE you are Mexican, and the white people who do that don't represent the majority of white Americans who actually respect and admire folks like you and you family. Wrong is wrong is wrong is wrong, and no matter what country you choose to live in, anyone would and should have to abide by that countries laws. You may have heard of the group "You don't speak for me?" They are also Mexicans, but they proclaim to be Americans first, which is what we all are! White, black, brown, or yellow! As long as we are willing to follow the rules. I wouldn't support German/French illegal immigrants anymore than you should support or accept illegal Mexican immigrants. Be proud that your family did things the right way, and understand that those choosing to do things the wrong way affect you and yours in a negative way too.

I don't think we should just think Mexicans. I would have to believe everyone would like a person no matter what his country of origin. What most of the answers refer to is illegal immigrants. That is another problem no matter if they are Mexican, Iraqi, German etc.
The problem I see in America is our politicians ( not just Bush) are so glad to have Mexican votes, they are welling to support Mexico by bankrupting the states who have to support the illegals.

My wife asks me many times,
"We work hard, we have strong family values, we contribute to the United States and we have shared our culture. Why do they (fellow Americans) still hate us so much"

My wife and I were both born US citizens to Legal Residents. Most of European Descent Americans still give us a bunch of crap. Some of those spewing the hatred are 2nd or 3rd generation Americans just like us.

So, any chance I can still live in YOUR country? Sir?

I don't think being Mexican is what's important. The important thing is that they are willing to work for almost nothing. If employers had to pay them minimum wage he'd immediately have the troops come back from Iraq, round them up, and send them home.

A better question would be why do politicians in general like them so much.
I often wonder if the politicians have forgotten just who they are suppose to represent.
I just don't get it - the illegal immigrants are pretty much given a free pass in this country.

It's not the Mexican factor -- it's the cheap labor factor.
