Probably. W/O us in the area I'm not sure what would happen. We are going to be there a long time, even if the democrats get into the White House. With Palestine on the verge of civil war and Iran getting near having the bomb, the world is not very stable right now. Do you think all the bombings will stop when/ because we leave? Peace

It takes ten years to put the terrorist down..we have only gone a little over five years..about five more years should see a resolution to this terrorist problem...it will take five years no matter who is in office...don't listen to the politicians ..they will tell you anything to get elected..then they do as they please..

FDR promised that the United States would not send any troops to fight in a war..then comes Pearl Harbor and all bets are off...
another 911? or worse..it could happen and then what?
WWIII?

It's all relative. I'd rather be in this position then with Iranians in Iraq threatening to go into Kuwait or Saudi.

Well it's not peace, but the all the terrorists are over there killing Muslims, not here in the U.S. learning how to attack America, like they were when Clinton was President.
