While we certainly aren't as good as the mighty ABs, and while I realize that we aren't in the top tier, as a Canadian I do resent being called a sh*t team. I do however agree that the game is a better test for us than it is for the ABs.
There is a good reason why you want to play better teams before a major tournament - it keeps you sharp, but the ABs are always sharp and I don't think that its going to hurt your chances any.
After Canada I am an ABs fan and I do think that they are going to win the cup and even if they don't I'll have fun watching them. Go All Blacks!

The All Blacks would be favourites for the World Cup but not a gaurantee. PLaying Canada won't tell much at all. It will most likely be an experimental team anyway. But i guess match practice is match practice.

It tells sweet F---- all! The problem is we only get the S---t teams. The other ones don't want to play us. Look at that pathetic french team? As far as the World Cup. Yes I hope we win. But you never know.The rest of the world is being really cagey at present. Kia Kaha All Blacks!
