love letters from an old flame that I destroyed in a pseudo-cleansing once the puppy love ended and the dream was over. Memories of a life time and the progression of our lives are always a good thing (to me) I certainly enjoy looking back every decade on what the past 10 year have brought me and these were a good measure of what my life was like in the summer of 85 through the fall of 86.

Interesting question, and well put.
Could I bring but one thing back from the past...it would be the now. To be able to travel to the past would make the past your now. To be able to travel to the future would make the future your now. Now is all that there really is.
Now is when you perceive anything happening in your world.
The past is always gone, and the future's never here, that's the way that thinking works, and it always will my dear.

I've accepted the loss of all things from the past. Bringing them/it back would only reactivate the past hurt by having to lose it again.

I would bring back the carelessness, the baby clothes, the laughter of the simplest things. That's what I want to do...I want to laugh more. Lately I just don't find anything humorous...but when I was a baby...a simple childrens song would make me fall over giggling. *sigh*

Nothing. I miss lots of things, but the past is the past and it's not right to make it the present.

Nothing. I have had many losses, but I have gotten over them and enjoy what I have now. I try not to dwell on the past.

The freedom I had as a child and not needing to worry about how to pay for where I live, what I wear, and how I will eat.

Personaly, I would not bring anyone back from the dead because it would have been hard the first time to lose them it would hard to lose the second time.

if you love them enough you let them rest in peace no mater how sad that maybe.

well thats just my oppioun!!!

My virtue. I would like to have more fun losing it this time. The first time kind of sucked. Pax - C
