First of all, its never fun to watch the finals when a team is leading 3-0 (because the team with the lead is obviously going to win). Even in the beginning of the series, we already knew the spurs would win. What makes it really boring is that there is nothing really spectacular to be seen in this series. The spurs defense wears out the cavs to the point where they can't do anything exciting since they are tired. The cavs could never make a big run. People were saying '', oh if the pistons make it to the finals with the spurs, it would be a boring series. Hopefully the cavs beat the pistons.'' Yeah but I bet it would have been a better series if it were the pistons and the spurs. Cavs don't match up well with the spurs, but the pistons match up well with the spurs. All the spurs have to do to beat the cavs is to stop lebron and they win, since the other players on cleveland are inexperienced. Eric snow made it to the finals before, but he is not doing crap this series.

You want to know why Spurs are boring? Here are just a few reasons... because no Spurs player has not been on trial for rape; no Spurs player has not been suspended for running into the crowd; because no Spurs player has drawn attention to himself and demanded a traded in the midst of another team's accomplishment (when the Western Conference was won); because no Spurs player stands out with an "I-told-you-so" attitude after anyone of their championships, nor do they give a Jordanlike gesture of "what-can-I-say?" after shooting a 3 pointer or making a GREAT play; because no Spurs player has an "at-your-face" attitude; because no Spurs player wants to be the "star" of any given game; because all they care about is about winning and because each one takes responsibility for their plays, their errors, and because each takes responsibility for each loss and each gives credit to the rest of their team for each win. Dang! This IS boring, but I'll take boring anytime when it means 4 wins in 9 years (and to the person who mentioned 5 losses in the last 9 - the Spurs still come on top, as the 5 losses did NOT include the Spurs, but a combination of 9 teams who lost - 2 losses belonging to the Nets, 1 to each the Cavs, Mavs, Lakers, 76ers, Pacers, and the Knicks - and of these mentioned, only the lakers have ever won it within the last 9 years. Secondly, the Spurs have not lost when going to the Finals.) So, as I mentioned earlier, if BORING means TITLES?... then, Way to GO, boring Spurs! GO!

I agree and those who said it would be boring with the Pistons in the finals only wanted the cavs to win because of Labron at least the Pistons depend on a team effort and not 1 player.

Dude your right this finals is terrible. Lebron just cant get past the spurs d. The spurs are one of the boringest teams in the nba. Hey I was thinking this was going to be better then a pistons spurs matchup, but no this is bad enough.

I know its boring. I mean , there is no team in the league right now that is even coming close to being a tough match for the Spurs. They are on a winning streak. Tim Duncan is really rising their hopes up. What is the use of watching a game when we already know probably who is going to win?

Definitely agreed. The Cavaliers are so overmatched that it's not even entertaining. I despise the Spurs but even so, there's no chance that the Cavaliers are even going to come close.

2005 finals was more boring, I did not know who played
in it, I just remembered last year when Miami beat Dallas.
I just saw it was San Antonio and Pistons, glad atleast
that did not happen, I'll remember LeBron playing his first
finals even though he won't win.
