Not much! International Relations is on par with a degree in Philosphy. You could try local law enforcement.

Unfortunately not much... I got a Ph.D in International Relations and had to go back and get a law degree to avoid teaching Political Science at a local university. Now that I have both degrees, I am making stellar money. I'm sure you could probably get a fair starting salary with a gov't agency like the CIA or NSA.

Your best bet for a decent starting sallary is a federal agency. FBI is currently looking for special skills and NCIS is cutting back on recruiting. DOS is actively recruiting, but don't be surprised if you end up in Iraq or some other hardship post for a year. NSA is a long shot unless you also have some sort of technical background.

You might want to look around in USAJobs. They'll have current listings there.
