Once you have fallen into a trance, you never really wake up, partly because you don't know how to go about it in the first place; secondly, it's because you are afraid to see what has happened to you !
Yes, you most probably continue to live in a daydream, recreating past scenes to improve on the role you played in them, and looking for answers, not in REALITY, but in ever more "perfect" fantasies !
In other words, you respond hypnotically to every pressure, either to rebel, or you conform. Or you might first rebel; then, finding you lack the confidence to put up a real fight, you give in and go along to get along with the pressure still on your head and you think you have resolved your problem but in reality, NOT !
You start out one way, and end up another !.
