No.

Wanting is a disease -- an illness. No one is ever satisifed. Once we want something and then get, the next want comes along. Even the richest people on this planet never have enough. They always make more. They always buy more. There are people on this planet who could retire and never need anything again for the rest of their lives and their children's lives -- and still they want more.

It doesn't matter what we get, the moment the want is satisfied, a new want comes into play. The wants can be anything -- money, power, property, beauty, food, sex, etc. Wanting is a death sentence of sorts -- some only stop wanting when they die.

Yes, there would still be problems because money is not the problem.
There already is an infinite amount of everything and people still don't think they have enough of it (whatever it is) .
The problem is everyone "wanting" more of it.

there is an infinite amount of everything -- humans delight in games of economies -- as far back as any sort of written histories go there are class systems. the desire to abuse everything -- even your own species -- is a much bigger problem than money -- money is just a device to do it.

One cannot comprehend "an infinite amount of everything"...it's senseless to even speculate about. What we DO know is that enough is never enough, that man is greedy and self centered, and there will always be war and theft and starvation and gluttony.

I think NO, there wouldn't be as many problems we have today if money wasn't around. The problem with money, is that, it is so powerful that almost all of our necessities, wants, and needs rely on money. Hence giving us reasons to keep on acquiring money. We go to war because of money, we kill because of money, and we work because of money, money motivates us to do many things that make us happy and others that consequently make us sad.

Money came along because of greed. Money is a result of wanting, not wanting a result of money. There would be something to express that want.

Problems happen in spite of the existence of money, not because of it. Money is but one doorway through which problems may pass.
