It is called "The Emperor's New Clothes." I liked it. Fairy tale con men are quite interesting. ;) If you want a print source, it is in Andrew Lang's "The Yellow Fairy Book" (there are so many colors of his books- I find he has more fairy tales than the Brothers Grimm.) If you want to read it online, just type in "The Emperor's New Clothes." It also makes an appearence in several children's illustrated collections of fairy tales, although I forget which.
The moral of wisdom coming from the mouth of a child until it catches up with the gullible adults makes it quite popular with the little ones who hear it.

Yeah I remember that story... It was a regular story just like Cinderella, Snow White, 3 Little pigs, etc...
But I don't know why it doesn't get as much notice now-a-days... I think the kids today read completely different nursery rhymes.

I remember it too just like Lilley
no one had the guts to challenge the “tailor” and the Emperor to say the truth only a child had the guts to. So he shouts from the crowd that the emperor is showing the new attire to. “The Emperor has no clothes!”

i also remember this story well and i think as in all good stories there is a moral to its telling , one that maybe our presidents , senators , primeminister's and all other leaders could do with listening to and understanding .
