If your talking about the headlight assembly with the reflector, $200 would be about right. If you just need the bulb, you can get one for under $10.00.

The standard bulb is a Sylvania 9003. There are also several other bulbs you can use. The 9003XV and the 9003 ST are both halogen upgrades.

Advance Auto Parts lists them:

9003 $7.97
9003XV $11.88
9003ST $19.88

If you just have a blown bulb, you do not need to replace the whole headlight assembly. I think you did not communicate what you actually needed when you were quoted a price!

Check on e-bay they sell everything, and also maybe amazon.com then check with your local junk yard, yes I said junk yard, many great vehicles end up there due to minor repair problems, that someone would not take the time or spend a little money to fix, most people want new vehicles. You can find many great auto parts at the local junk yard. Also usually there are many great auto repair shops near junk yards, ask them where is the best place to get the part you need. The auto mechanic near our local junk yard, has saved us a ton of money on our Chevy Truck, which has low mileage. The price you were quoted must have been from a dealer, go else where for your parts. Happy safe driving!

you might try looking at a salvage yard you might get lucky and fine one there that has also been up graded, other than that there has to be someone else selling those for less, good luck with it.
