My mom said that I can have fish but they need to stay healthy. I'm13 and don't have much money were should I go?

Try Wal-mart if the fish die you can take the fish back and get another one. They have food and everyhting else you need.

Well first you need to either talk to someone who knows about taking care of fish or better yet go somewhere like pet smart or another pet store and ask someone on staff what is necessary for keeping the type of fish you want healthy. Then go around to various stores like pet smart, pet depot, wal-mart and small pet stores found around your city to price the items. Also consider getting a type of fish that require less.

Do you have a Goodwill store or something similar around your area? Sometimes you can really find some great stuff there. Or ask around. Put "wanted" fliers out or if your local radio station has a free service, have them ask if anyone has whatever you are looking for for a low price or free. Never know. Oh, and you could try Freecycle on the internet. It's a service that lets folks find stuff for free that others want to get rid of. Be sure to check that!

fish are an adventure -- you should check walmart and local flea markets. also ebay -- i got cheap tanks on ebay -- you can check for "nearest first" so you can go pick them up and not pay to ship them. craigslist.com is a great place to get used stuff -- but sometimes used stuff is close to the price of walmart.

For me, walmart has the best fish stuff at low prices. They carry everything like tanks, filters, food, chemicals to keep the water right, and castles for them to have fun in!

I'm pretty sure that I've seen some fish stuff at dollar stores before... It may have been the rocks or food, but you could give it a shot. I know that grocery stores have cheep food.

you need to save some money for the kind of fish in the pet store dont buy those fish in wal mart they die easily the fish in the pet store there stong and heathy they wont die!
