only very rarely do I notice a comment. I use the comment section if the person doesn't allow email sometimes, but wonder if they ever see it.

I go back to see if replies have been left for my comments.
< I've also noticed how many follow-up questions are triggered by certain answers--and Qs--I've entered.
Or am I being a little solipsistic?

Yes - I try to. But I would like to see a feature as someone has suggested, which would be email notification to the Asker when a comment is received on a Resolved Question. The other Answerers would just have to check back if they are interested in the comments that took place.

Yes, I do all the time. I hope others do cause when I get best answer.......I always go to the question and Thank the asker for choosing my answer and add any other comments I want to add. So, when I ask a question I go back and check it out.......might be surprised at what one can learn .

I continually attempt to go away some comments to enable them to renowned that I take exhilaration of their solutions!! I study those i'm getting ultimate on and that i've got questioned until now too if each and every individual incredibly is going back and reads them?!?!?

I always go back, yes. Now, it's easier to do this, I get alerts from Yahoo!, when I have new comments.

Just set an alert for your own YA profile, and you'll get an email, when you have new answers (better than the tons of emails that YA sends, in my opinion), and new comments.
You can also use this for news, sports, and other things that interest you.

i didn't know that you could go back and leave comments once you've been selected best answer. i'll need to look into that.
