You can quarantee, delete whatever. Does not matter, Active Virus Shield, destroys the virus. Myself I quarantee the file, unless my antivirus says it can be cleaned. Then I clean & it is deleted.
If you Quarantee, the virus goes into the vault and it is safe there and if you wish at a later date, can delete all the viruses in the vault and they will not be in your system.

Is up to you, I always delete all the files that are detected with virus. Some people just quarantine, which is a good idea if you don't know what files are infected.
