And they answered they had no clue~ but was home late day because of some "meeting" that just popped up ?? Are you thinking it's an affair? If so how do I get him to tell me who she is and how long this has been going on???

Not to freak you out, but one of the top five signs of cheating (I just read this in the newspaper) is the suprise work meetings (like unscheduled) especially ones that run late in the day, I would be a little wary, go to www.whitepages.com and do a reverse search on the #....if it is a cell number then call it but hit *67 first so the caller ID doesn't show up! Yeah, I have never had to deal with this but somehow I know all the tricks!

I would not think it was an affair, I trust my husband completely. It sounds like you have other reasons to believe he is having an affair, especially if you are checking his phone.
If you truely believe he is having an affair I suggest you get the phone number and call the woman, then you will know for sure. But if this is the only thing that has made you wonder about his fidelity then I think it's an over reaction.

You'll be waiting, because men rarely admit to this even when they are actually caught in the act, believe someone who's been in that predicament. Any, just keep your eyes open, and keep good notes and look for other signs which only you would pick up on, and then prove it yourself if you are willing to deal with actually knowing. Make sure that you are ready for what can come out of your verifying this, because suspecting and knowing makes a big difference in a relationship.

It seems you do not trust your spouse;there is this unspoken suspicion in your piece..It is quite possible the late call was a wrong one and he was home for the reason he gave you. Until you have a solid and incontrovertible proof that he is having an affair I would advice caution.

Um, if it were that easy to get them to tell you there wouldn't be a need for the tv show Cheaters. He's not going to tell you so that approach is not going to work. The phone call and mysterious meeting are coincidental however not definitive. Let it go for now. Trust me, if he's cheating it will come out one way or another.

Always check the number first....if a female does answer, just ask did she call the number of whatever your husband's name is. If she hesitates and then answers, she's lying. Then you lie and tell him you spoke to the girl and she told you everything...is there anything he wants to talk about...Chances are he will lie until the day he dies, he is a man and that's what they do best.
Good luck

Not necessarily, but I would check phone records and keep an eye out for suspicious behavior. And if he gets defensive about questions you ask, that may be something to watch for.

call the number.... if it is a female that picks up, then be concerned...
you dont want to get mad and then find out it was a bill collector or somethin....
