Oxyclean works great.... fill a bucket with hot water and add oxyclean and some detergent and mix.. then put your bras in and let soak.... the key is HOT water to activate the oxyclean....

and dry by hanging up... heat from the dryer can wreck the elastic and shaping as well...

don't try to cover up the odor with perfumes or febreeze.. you will still have the smell AND too much scent along with it!

Interesting question... I am "heavy busted" as well but never had this problem..first off I would recommend using Tide with Bleach alternative (because you can't use bleach).I used to use any detergent that was on sale but overtime I realized that I was throwing clothes out due to stains (4 kids) and spending a little bit more for a better detergent was far less expensive than buying new clothes.Another suggestion would be to make sure that the deodorant you use is doing the job, and to change your bras more often. My last suggestion and probably the best one is to spray full-strength white distilled vinegar on your bra before tossing them into the washing machine it will help with the odor and get rid of deodorant stains. If you don't want to have to spray them before washing you can put 1 cup of white distilled vinegar in the washing machine (along with your detergent ((Tide))) and try to wash in hot water if you can..(if only with your bras).
I hope this helps....good luck :)

I ve also been fighting this problem for YEARS and recently have gotten it under control (I hope!) I m also large busted and overweight PLUS have a serious problem with excessive sweating. I m not talking under arm odor -- this is under and/or in between the breasts odor!! If you ve had it, you know what I mean. The only bras I can wear are (hope brand names are ok here?)... Playtex 18-Hour Comfort Strap 4693 made with I believe mostly nylon, polyester and spandex and a bit of cotton. I believe the nylon, polyester and spandex are to blame for some of the odor, but regardless -- I wanted it to stop!! And of course, chlorine bleach is a NO NO. My solutions: 1) ONE wear and the bra goes in the laundry. 2) Use at least 2 cups of white vinegar in the wash cycle with my bras. 3) Use a nice smelling essential oil perfume roll on (I find mine on Etsy) and when the bras come out of the dryer, I roll a bit of the perfume oil directly on the fabric of the bra in the front center and on the band right under each cup. Hope this helps even one person ~~ Best to all!!!

Some of us just make "the funk" as part of our regular day. Nice if we can keep it at bay with the right laundry tricks.

I've found that pre-soaking the clothes for even 10 minutes in a sink with half water, half white vinegar is a big help. When I wash them, I also pour white vinegar in the softener dispenser instead of fabric softener.

When the funky clothes come out of the wash, they get the sniff test. If they still got it, back into the vinegar water and one more wash.

Also look at how you are getting your bras dry, maybe a part of the smell is mildew-ish. Either run them through the dryer (which can be hard on them) or hang them to dry thoroughly. If you don't have a laundry room, use a room that gets plenty of sun. The bathroom can be too damp.

I would put a cup of Arm N Hammer baking soda in with your detergent and wash in the warmest water possible for the fabric. Then, Put the bras on a hanger and let them dry. If you live in a humid area, I'd hang them in the basement where or wherever it's least humid. Best of luck, I understand what you mean!

i am also large busted and sweat a lot, so i understand what you're going through. as far as the cleaning the bra thing, i just wash mine regularly and they seem ok, but to help with the uncomfortable sweating, i put a little baby powder on before i start my days in the summer. it helps keep me dry.

You ABSOLUTELY need to go have this checked. It is not normal to have that discharge. It may not be cancer. It could be an infection, bacteria, sores ect. But only your dr can tell you for sure. But ignoring it obviously is not helping. If you don't feel confident in the dr that told you the lump was "nothing to worry about" then get another dr. Either way, you have to take charge of your health. It is your life!

I completely understand. Wash your bras in the gentle cycle of your machine, add your regular detergent, then add febreze for laundry. You can buy it in the same aisle as regular laundry detergent but it is great for removing stubborn smells that detergent isn't strong enough to do.

Apparently us ladies are supposed to replace our bras monthly! I don't, but I'm not blessed in the bosom dept, so my bra's don't work as hard as the average buxon lady, but being bigger you probably would be better just renewing yours more frequently, to make sure you don't lose support mor than anything. Meantime you could try scooshing anti perspirant deod across your bosoms as it'll work the same as it does under your arms.
