i know ill get penalized for changing the time so i have two ways to get around it.... maybe tell me if itll work!
1- take the cartridge out change time put it in...
2- i only played my pokemon diamond on my 1 ds... if i change the day to like a week or just a few days or even just 24 hrs... would it work?

Changing time won't work. The time will synchronize your other games as well. Even if you take it out, the time does not match, you will get a penalty of 24 hours. Just wait a day, that's the only way.

Just change the time in your ds and that will trick the game into believing is the next day.
