WHen will the world end?

When do u think it'll happen, how, and why do u think that?

There are 3 predicitons I know of, Nostradamus predicted 3988 or close to that, the world will be abandoned or something
The bible itself predicts that the devil will take it over after his 10,000 years in prison
and Science says that in bout a million years, the sun will grow so large that Earth will be swallowed but science also predicts that we will be living in Mars by then.

That's like asking if a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it, does it make noise? Experiencing the world requires human consciousness - hence the answers: It ends when you die. Physically beyond any human awareness, probably 15 to 20 Billion years or when the sun starts to burn off its hydrogen and swell into a red giant and fries everything. This will happen before the end of the universe.

Some believe that the world is also culture and language and societies and commerce and borders and all that human civilization stuff. There is an idea out there that all that may come to an end around December 21, 2012, when the Mayan Calendar ends (end of days) - When the companion brown dwarf star to our sun comes around again - When the next solar peak period is at its highest. All this happens in 2012. Which isn't that far off.

When the planet moves closer to the sun. The atmosphere and water will burn off. Most of us will not be able to move and live in space. The planet as we know it will become barren and unable to support most of what we consider to be life.

This is a long way off.

We will be long dead by that point. In the future, people will likely be faced with hard decisions of who will be allowed to live and who will face death on a planet that no longer sustains life.

This will likely happen long before our Sun goes nova.

Those who are chosen, or fight for that, will become a new type of human that is space-faring. Where we are born in no-gravity environments unable to live on gravity planets.

Our physiology will change and we will become a species without a home, or a planet.

Even in a major catastrophe, much of the knowledge that we have accumulated will remain. Even a devastated world (asteroid or nuclear war) will still leave enough survivors to carry on what science and technology has provided.

The world is created by an eternal God. So how could we say about its end. Anything that an eternal being will create will be also eternal. Perhaps what you wanted to know about the end of a dispensation to the next dispensation.
This present dispensation of "Grace" or "Age of Mystery" as what Paul thoroughly emphasizes in his 13 epistles will end in the "Rapture" (I Thessalonians 4:15-18) Then the Mother of all "Peace" will be signed in the Middle East between Israel and the world and the 7 years tribulation will follow.

I think it is going end on DEC 2, 2012. I think a nuclear war will spring off with the Chinese launching at the North Koreans, Because of tensions between them and land. then the North Koreans will launch, Us in the US thinking that they launched at us will launch back, Russia will retaliate when the fumes from the explosion aftermath reaches them, The North Koreans will Launch at us and so will Russia, Then Japan will have radioactivity approach on there land and launch at North Korea and then Russia retaliates and fires at Japan. All of the upper northern Asian country's are now in ruins. This would happen in about August and then the dust swiveled up by the explosions will block the sun for several years, Killing off all crops and intoxicating the water we would still have. Humans would die ou then the animals and then a whole new chapter in the Earths history.

I have heard that the world will end on September 11th 2007 due to a nuclear war. Though i do not believe in this fully it may happen due to what happened on that date in 2001. Though I also do not believe in the 2012 Mayan theory. What proof due you have it happens? Just a myth? And who says history has to repeat itself. You have control of your own future you can change anything you want. Nothing is written for your future. You and your actions controll what will happen. No one really knows when the world will end because it is not written yet. When the world ends is when the world will end. It may end tomorrow. There is no actual possible answer to this except that you are the end of the world. Everyone is and it will not end until we all decide to give up on the world and allow it to end. Whether other worlds like ours have ended on a calender that is because they believed in it. We can control our own destiny.

Hi there.Do you really believe that someone has the correct answer to your question. No one can even begin to work it out as the odds of getting the right answer are astronomical (no pun intended) One thing is certain though the world will end sometime in the future .It could happen in 5 minutes or 5 billion years from now.God will decide when he is ready to visit us .

Providing that Man doesn't do it first, the world will end in about five billion years when the sun reaches the stage of its life where it will swell up into a red giant and engulf all the inner planets out to the orbit of Mars, or maybe even farther.

I just heard that in like 2012 we will come close to the world ending by getting hit with a meteor. Then in 2024 we will actually get hit and all living things will be perished. This is all due to the Pole Shifting....and the gravitational pull. I'm talking out of my butt.....I can't remember all the facts.

I think it will end. But not in a million or even billions of years. Soon the sun woud die out and stop burining, Without sun, their is no life. The sun will soon open a whole suck in all the planets and thats it. The End. Forever. I also think that Global Warming is also increasing it. I don't think the owrld woud ever get to the year 3000.

No one knows. There is a long list of ways the world could end, and half of them could happen at this very second, while most of the others could only happen in trillions of years.
