No I do not because David Stern thinks it is wrong and everything that homo thinks, says or does can only improve the historical impact of the NBA on future generations.

No. They are employed by the teams that make up the NBA. They sign a collective bargaining agreement that has basic stipulations in it; one is that they cannot publicly criticize the officiating without being fined. You can talk about freedom of speech all you want, but when your union leaders sign a contract that puts a muzzle on it, you have given up that right.

I believe they should be able to voice their disagreement with the call as long as it is in a respectful manner...just as in any business. I believe the manner it is approached should be the deciding factor. Refs in general have too much latitude in the NBA...look at how the "God status" affected Joey Crawford. Only the commissioner himself could take the most egotistical clown of a ref down a peg.

No. Of course bad calls or made and emotions get involved. But you cannot let your emotions get the best of you. There is a way to voice your displeasure with a call without being disrespectful to the refs.
They have a job to do just like the players.
If a player crosses the line then he deserves to be suspended.

Can you tell your boss or your coworkers to f*** off and get away with it? Isn't that a freedom of speech issue, too?
