Yes, & when I moved a way from the tracks, I never could get a god nights sleep. Always was use to the noise from the trains.

I moved alot as a kid, Actually a couple of the houses I lived in were by a cemetery although one was by the traintracks. I loved watching the trains go by as a kid and now whenever I see a train I think about my childhood.

No. They were a mile away. But I could hear the trains clack-clack by every night while I slept. I miss that sound.

Close to them- if you're being literal- always was a little spooked then annoyed by the sound of nearby trains!
(Then I guess I just grew used to them.)
