well sometimes i re-gift so there's not even a price tag on it.... jk :)...but I usually scratch out the price (even though most of the time the price can still be seen...)

leave it on but scratch the price off..if you take the tag off they sometimes won't let you return it (just in case they don't like the gift).

It depends on whether i think the person will like it enough to keep it...... i usually get a gift receipt and i leave the tag on and scratch out the amount totally

Take the price tag off, but save the gift receipt in case they have to return it...

Leave it on and scratch it off if the tag won't come off. Otherwise, take it off.

I take it off all together. My dad is the opposite and will be completely oblivious to the fact the item has a price on it at all. It's so funny at Christmas because my mom will point it out and he always acts so surprised that he left it on.
