when i go to work i usually do my homework there, and i was wondering if i could setup my laptop so that when i click on print it will get sent to my house, is this possible?

It's possible but generally requires a skilled IT guy to set it up.

Requirements...
Either a static address at home or an account at a service like DynDNS which will "discover" your changing IP address and forward your connection accordingly.

Configuring your home Internet Gateway to forward inbound requests from the Internet using a specific protocol to your printer.

Knowing what protocol to use (different printers require different ports and protocols if attached directly to the network)

If your printer isn't connected directly to your network, then the machine it's connected to must always be on.

That's just for starters... to make your Printer available on the Internet. You'd also have to know how to configure your computer to look out over the Internet, find your printer and communicate properly.

All you would need to do is send a fax to your home computer.
