Go there and find out.. i go into New Orleans almost every day, for work and then to play... it's not as bad as you see it on TV... you just have to know where not to go and with whom to be around, if you around travelin... come to the quarter, with friends..... you'll catch the fever and never want to leave... its a beautiful town.... I've never been to Houston... so i cant even comment......i know people from every one form poverty strict-en to pretty darn rich. i like the locals the best, just be careful not to be swindled into something..... you have to be her to know here... and love here...

I've been in both several times and they didn't scare me as much as Pleasant Grove,Southeast Dallas, but maybe because I lived there.
