Why do namebrands matter so much to women, as well as men? WTF is up w/ people spending so much to impress some imaginary person whose looking at your purse??

Because we all care what others think.
I personally don't bother with anything with logos or designer names all over it. Why would I want to advertise something that I paid for with my money? I always buy my clothes and accessories at places like Target, Macy's, JC Penney, TJ Maxx, Marshall's, H&M, etc., and I look just as good and modern as any well-dressed person walking outside.

Yeah, your right, all it matter is that its cute, it doesn't have to be namebrand, unless you have the money to buy it then thats their business on what they buy, but for now, I'm not waisting money on a 1,000 dollar purse, if I had the money ya dam skippy i would use it, but I don't...I guess they do it to be fashionable and to get attention..

Because they are obsesses with the "status", what they don't know is that if they are carrying a 200.00 purse and somebody snaches it, the thief is only going for the wallet and pitching the bag, so really who cares what kind of purse you carry.

I know right! all they're gonna do is carry around their belongings.but some Say the purse lasts longer. the most I'll spend on a purse is $60.00

Well... I don't use purses... I just have a wallet which I put in my back pocket...
BUT I use them when I go to a big important party or something... and I don't buy brand name purses to impress anyone... I just buy them for my own pleasure and desire...
BUT I rather buy shoes... SHOES :D

It is ridiculous. I get a lot of compliments on my bags from H&M and Target. And I'm not broke and in debt to finance my "look."

it's ok if you don't like brand names, it's also ok if i do. Everyone spends money on something. It's absolutely fine if mine is designer bags
