It's not just the waiters that get hard time from ppl. Any job that has to deal w/customers. Some people are just never happy no matter what and are looking for reasons to upset others, they like to blame everyone else for having a bad day or for any problems they have.

Some people do give waitstaff a hard time. I try not to be too demanding, but if the service sucks, I will not hesitate to go to the manager about them. However, when the service is good, I try to leave about a 25-30% tip. Just my opinion.

too many years in the buisness and I still don't have an answer to that one.
customer service is a tough buisness, we will always get all types.
most ppl think "wating on tables" is an easy job.
little do they know it is the ultimate test in time management, multitasking, strength and endurance!!!!
all with a great smile on your face like your sailing through your day on cloud nine.
I got no time for worries, because I am supposed to be the happiest human on earth while I serve you.

Because some people think they are better than you, because you're serving them. Most of those ignorant people don't realize that we're hard working college students who will eventually make more money than they do.
