dont you just hate social climbers?

By social climbers i mean like this:
-Geeks who transffer to other schools to shed their reputation (who get beaten up, like star wars, etc), and then in their new schools trick people into thinking they're cool.
-people that false claim to seem cool

I know these kinds of people and I HATE them so much.

Well, people DO change as they grow, particularly during their school years, when it's a good time to experiment with finding out just what sort of person you are and want to be in the future.

I'm not sure what falsely claiming to seem cool is ~ in my own experience, at high school it's what other people think of you that earns a person a reputation as 'cool'.

Maybe the people at the new school just happen to think your geeky ex-friends are cooler than you ever thought they were ~ sometimes a change can give people a whole new perspective on things.

The most important thing about being cool is learning to like yourself, and stop worrying what other people think. The less regard you have for the opinions of others about who you should be, and the more yourself you are, the cooler you will become ~ and the happier.

You are apparently a young person for making such an asinine statement. So, I won't be too hard on you. However, hate is such a strong emotion - best used on child predators, terrorist, rapist, etc. Who are you to determine who is a geek or who is social climber anyway? Trust me, once you get to become an adult . . . and I hope you make it that far without someone kicking your narcissistic hiney first . . . you will find yourself climbing a ladder to success that is paved with people far worse than yourself.
