I was asked to fix someones computer and I put it in safe mode right and now all of their files are missing
Are they Gone or are they just hidden somewhere now!?!?!?!?!?!

There just in a hidden folder. Since you put it in safe mode it stored all the computers files in another folder. This folder would be in two places, (it dosent matter which one, there both the same.)
Open my computer and go to your hard drive. Click on program files, and then doucments and settings. Click on safe mode, and then click on hard drive settings. All the files should be there. Hope this helps, later.

No worries .... files do not just disappear.
Odds are that they are either on a partition or drive that cannot be accessed in safe mode or they were alreay gone before you even got there.
Respectfully speaking .... if you need Yahoo Answes to figure it out ... you should (from now on) stop trying to fix computers.

hey probly just hidden try restart the cp again on either safe or normal mode see what happen...

Why are you fixing someone else's computer and asking this? You are obviously not very well trained. Give the computer back to the user and have them take it to a real technician. You know just enough to be dangerous.
