IN GENERAL: Follow the dress code. Dress for the job level above yours. When in doubt, go conservative.
1] tops - no camisoles, no see-through, no or very little cleavage. No backless or midriffs.
2] bottoms - slacks that fit; not too tight, too loose, or too long.
Same for skirts : knee-length is perfect. No shorts or capris unless you are at the company picnic.
3] jackets - a fitted jacket in one of 'your' colors.
4] wear grownup shoes! No ski-high stilettos, peep toes, strappy sandals, or flip flops. Pumps, flats, slingbacks, and dressy boots are great.
5] legs - wear hose, or tights
6] hair should be a flattering, professional style
7] jewelry is your own unique style - don't wear noisy [ bangles ] if you'll disturb other people. Wear earrings or necklace, and bracelet or ring, in your favorite style. Add a good looking watch.
8] wear enough makeup for people to say "Wow, she's pretty!" not: "what cornor does she work at?"
9] your perfume should be subtle, and not leave a trail behind you
10] carry a great bag or tote.

Think GAP, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic....it should be modest - not too much skin for work. Polos, simple skirts, shells/tanks with a blazer, that sort of think. Go classic and tailored until you've been at the job for a week or so. You should be able to see what others are wearing and take your cues from them.

Ones that cover her and are available in extraordinarily a lot to the knee. As she looses the burden then how she seems many situations will dictate. i'd say a tailored pant, no cuffs and save wallet to a minimum. wallet upload multiple bulk. attempt for pants made from gabardine or twill, they are going to provide better acceptable insurance and carry their structure. stay far flung from skinny, short short or tight pants. Be better careful of the upward thrust (crotch too tight) as getting them too short there'll undermine each and every of the paintings she has accomplished. they do now no longer look to be flattering on anybody and can want to now no longer help her save on inclusive of her verify.

black suit pants are a classic cause u can pair nearly anything with them and they maintain that smart/workwear look which u can then pair with boots/heels and blouses of ur choice which depending on your style can make it more femine or wateva u want.

hope that helps

i love wearing just a cute skirt with a cute top to work. like the skirts that go down to your knees, and shirt that doesnt show too much cleavage or anything like that. match it up with a cute jacket in case it gets cold at work, and a pair of cute heeled sandals and you've got the cutest look :)

slacks (not jeans)
blouses
t-shirts (no slogans, nasty pics)
spaghetti straps w/ over blouse (lots of employers don't like to see womens chests , shoulders, necks and upper arms exposed, especially in a work environment)
skirts (not shorts) and not too short...above the knee (but not up to your crotch).
sweaters (if it's cool enough)
summer dresses (again, over blouses or wraps)
