They always talk about Freedom of Speech and Freedom of the Press when it suits them. When it comes to Fox News or Rush Limbaugh they want to supress it. Why is that? Just look at Drake trying to supress Fox News because he cannot handle the truth.

They love anything that moves thier way, and they hate anything that appears to oppose them! They are all for the liberal, lieing, bsing media, but they hate right on, honest, reporting in any of it's forms! That's why they suppress the eyewitness viewpoints of servicemen and women who have seen it, smelled it, felt it, and lived it! They prefer the cute little blond who has never been anywhere, or seen anything, telling you how it was in the war zone today!!! That's why they love misguided, well meaning, stupid, people like Jane Fonda, and Mr.Baldwin!

You ask a great question. I live in Portland Oregon, A liberal paradise. I have noticed that the liberals here are always yelling about every ones freedom a speech and expression, right up until the time you say something they disagree with.

A few months ago I was walking through Pioneer Court House Square in downtown Portland. A group of peace protesters were holding a peace rally. As I was walking through the square heading for Starbucks I noticed a man standing in the middle of the square who had a pro-life message on a sandwich board he was wearing.

I watched liberal protester after liberal protester put down there peace signs and walk over to the man, push him, yell at him, a couple even knocked him down. I had such respect for this man, not for his message but for the fact that he would simply get up and stand there and not say a word.

I also found it so ironic, that the people who pride themselves on peace and love were violent and intimidating a person that had a different belief than them.

To answer your question, no in my experience liberals only care about freedom of speech when it's a message they want to hear.

How about the ultimate proof that liberals only support freedom of the press when it suits them. Angelina Jolie does a movie about slain reporter Richard Pearl, then has the audacity to demand that all reporters who interview her about the movie sign an agreement to only ask certain types of questions and laying out how they may use interview material. And of course bans Fox from interviewing her or covering the movies premier. Yeah, liberals support freedom of the press,my ***!!!

Yes, I believe in Freedom of the Press. Unfortunately, Rush Limbaugh, Fox News, and yes even the Daily Show, and Steven Colbert blur the lines between entertainment and news, and to differing degrees.

Case in point, John Stewart did a segment on "Martyrdom Mouse". I thought he did a good job making light of the situation, unfortunately, my roommate believed that they had faked the subtitles on the mouse, but they hadn't! I tried convincing her otherwise, but she wouldn't take it seriously since it was on Comedy Central.

Humor and entertainment are important in presenting news, but unfortunately it has gotten in the way of reporting the news in almost every network.

Consequently, people need to be more discerning about the news they hear. When people say, "Rush is always right", I think, either they are being sarcastic, or they belong to the Cult of Limbaugh (which even Limbaugh would run away from).

In short, it isn't Fox, and Rush that are the problem. Nearly the entirety of the news media, and our culture have failed us in helping us to be discerning consumers of information.

Fox News has an incredible bias in both the uses of incredible. Was it the Liberals that decided that showing flag drapped coffins would be bad for the war effort but said it was bad for the family? Is it the Liberals that try to limit freedom of protest and the Liberals aren't siclencing disent.

Actually Jeev, I have no problem with having Fox News on TV or having Rush spew his crap on Radio. I do believe in Freedom of press, but just like any news organization I am also free to criticize it. Freedom of press and speech also allow me to criticize a news organization for making extremley false and inaccurate statements. I am not looking to have a ban on conservative news and talk radio, but I do want to outright expose these stations for what they are right wing propaganda machines.

We don't want to suppress it. But freedom of the press also means we get to criticize sources that are obviously biased. So Rush Limbaugh has every right to be an idiot on the air and Fox News has every right to be a sold-out corporate station that wouldn't know journalistic standards from its own derriere. But don't expect that nobody will say a peep about it.

No. They think they deserve to have total control of information. That explains their pathological hatred for Fox News.
