Do you think it's possible to determine someone's political slant by the type of car they drive?

For example, what type of car would a Libratairian drive?

A friend of mine was considering buying a late model used Cougar.
Someone at her office commented that the majority of Cougar owner are both female and liberal.

Now I don’t know where this gal got her data about Cougar owners, but it got me wondering if certain makes and models attract certain mindsets.

Liberals fly around in jets and complain about conservatives ruining the environment by driving trucks.

I don't know about the type of car telling us much, but a "Kerry-Edwards" bumper sticker sure speaks volumes, as does an "Impeach Bush" sticker.
