Whenever I prove something negative about Liberals they point out misspelled words. Can there be any more of a stupid and obviouse lack of intelligence. Why cant they just admit they are wrong or dont answer. Also Liberals are supposed to be compassionate. Maybe I'm learning disabled or a evil christian conservative put a hex on me. Liberals should be more understanding.

strick adherance to spelling rules is a perfect example of conformity. They were created by royalty over 200 years ago.

I don't know anyone who spells correctly when they I.M. and taking shortcuts has nothing to do with intelligence. It's when you don't know proper grammer or spelling that determines (to some extent) intelligence.

Actually I get frustrated by that too. To me if a person attacks you for a spelling mistake they are just using it as a diversionary tactic to take the argument away from the point you are trying to make. I have mentioned it a few times too that stop making a big deal about a spelling error and just answer the damn question if all you can say to my question is just criticizing it for a misspelled word or two then do not respond and waste peoples time.

I say, "congratulations to you." One of the most difficult things anyone can do is to prove a negative. I take you at your word that you have done this more than once. I understand. However, you should realize spelling and grammar are communication tools. Take a little more time and get people to focus on what you are saying instead of how you say it.

In your statement above, you have used the term liberal as both an adjective and a common noun. Except at the beginning of a sentence, neither should begin with a capital letter. Christian, however, is a proper noun and should be capitalized.

One further point, you seem to use liberal as a catch-all term that says more about your partisanship than it does about liberalism. A liberal is a person who favors a political philosophy of progress and reform and the protection of civil liberties. Unfortunately many people in the US broadly use the term to disparage those who don't agree with them. They call themselves conservatives but they really aren't.

Be well and be open to others.

I think it's fair to bring up systematic spelling errors if the post in question is critical of liberals' intelligence, logic, reasoning, or consistency.

If you're legitimately criticizing some policy or program, then I'll take your side; but if you branch out into personal attacks and insults, you would do well to spell everything correctly, because you WILL hear about it if your thoughts are disorganized or your syntax garbled.

Why do you feel the need to lump all people together?

Are you incapable of recognizing that people are individuals.

I do NOT harp on people's misspellings (well, there was a user who said he was a docter, and in another question a lawer -- which was irresistable -- but other than that, I address the substance of the posts).

I see no reason to say I'm wrong when I'm right.

Sabrina, right here is the concern. those people who care approximately others' emotions are the only ones who will study your rant and understand. the individuals you're speaking approximately will merely see it as an risk to make relaxing. the final ingredient to do is forget approximately approximately them. they're the two very indignant or merely finding for interest. the two categories thrive off of people being stricken via them. i'm a organic speller. even regardless of the incontrovertible fact that i'm careful, I nevertheless make blunders. For myself, I in undemanding terms remark on a mistake if it makes me chortle (in a favorable way- i like wordplay). i'm hoping that i do no longer harm somebody's emotions yet as quickly as I do, that is unintended. So please do no longer permit those human beings carry you down. they're going to continually be around us. merely be happy with who you're and concentration on your guy or woman strengths. happy YAing! To compulsive correctors: A so-referred to as know for language (which I even have additionally) shouldn't come until now know for individuals's emotions.

Yes you are so right. But you have misspelled misspelled. And there is an apostrophe on don't. And can't. And obvious is spelled incorrectly. But your point is made, I won't do it again. Sorry about the hex.

I see your side but it happens on BOTH sides. Let's face it, when libs talk about the cons, the cons usually bring up Mr. Clinton in their answers. But this isn't a "stupid and obviouse lack of intelligence". It's just the way the game is played.

Not "obviouse"- it's spelled OBLIVIOUS. And correcting your spelling doesn't prove OUR stupidity, it proves YOURS.
So if Liberals are "compassionate", then conservatives don't have to be? They are absolved of the responsibility of being compassionate too? Is that point you're making?

"Liberals should be more understanding"

So should Conservatives.
