He's a christian. His name is NOT a muslim name. It is a Luo name, an ethnic group that lives in Western Kenya around Lake Victoria. Stereotypically that group in Kenya is known more for attaining high education standards, especially their boys, for enjoying Tilapia and Ugali and they are known for being materially competitive and showing off at whatever expense so that they can appear to have suceeded. Obama has this name because his father came to study in the US from Kenya and then returned to Kenya leaving Obama and his mother behind.

Why would you even insinuate that. Do read the "Audacity of Hope" and then tell me if you see any hint of Islam in Mr. Obama's thinking and writing. Mr. Obama is a Christian. You have been watching too much of the Fox News Channel, or as I like the "Fox Noise Channel" who actually reported that he attended a extremist Islamic School in Indonesia where he lived during his childhood. Mr. Obama has no connections to Muslim groups.
