Who would you consider the greater quarterback?
Steve Young or Joe Montana

Hands down Joe is the GREATER of the two. Montana posted impressive statistics, and led his teams to multiple NFL championships. His San Francisco 49ers teams won four Super Bowls (XVI, XIX, XXIII, and XXIV), and Montana is the only player to win three Super Bowl MVP awards. In his four Super Bowl appearances, Montana never threw an interception or lost a fumble. Montana was also the first player in league history to win consecutive Associated Press MVP awards, which he did for the 1989 and 1990 seasons. In 1990 he received Sports Illustrated magazine's "Sportsman of the Year" award, and he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2000.
Steve was not cool under fire like Montana, nor did he have the stats regular season or post season to stand up to Joe.

Hhahahhahahha! I would have to go with Joe Montana, Hero of My Generation. Great leader. 4 Rings and 40,000 yards give or take and some TD's. Nat'l. Championship QB as well from the University of Notre Dame. Steve is not too shabby either considering his career started in the USFL and then the Tampa Yucks.

Being a Rams fan it was tough watching Joe beat us and go on to win those Super Bowls, but i've got nothing but respect for the guy, especially how he picked himself back up and won the super bowl the year after Leonard Marshall nearly killed him in the Playoffs. Steve Young was handed the keys to the Ferarri. Scrub fill ins like Bono and Drunkenmiller did fine filling in for Young when he was dinged up. Answer = MONTANA.

Your forgetting to put a lot of QBs on that list...but between the two I will go with the one with the most Rings and the Starter.

Joe Montana.
