The military is to protect the US from invaders from causing destruction, but they did nothing to protect or prevent those destructive forces. What would a high blast explosive bomb do to a tornado or several to a hurricane? Or is there other research into means of dealing with destructive weather?

Because they can't!

You can't be dropping bombs all over the place! No one would ever agree to that idea because at some point the military would screw up and hit the wrong thing. A non-nuclear bomb destroying a tornado is plausible but a hurricane is not going to be greatly affected by one. To hit a tornado, they would need the exact location of it. If it is daylight and there are storm chasers around watching the tornado, they might be able to give a general location, but not exact. This would often lead to other things being blown up. Moreover, at night there would be little way to get an exact location of the tornado because you can't see it. In that situation, you would need to rely on lightning and power flashes for the tornadoes location. On top of that, a tornado would very likely have dissipated by the time they were able to drop a bomb on it.

If you have a viable way for the government to stop destructive weather, you should present it before Congress. Detonating a bomb inside a tornado or a hurricaine wouldn't be that hard. All you would have to do is put it in the storm's path, and the storm itself would probably detonate it. But exploding a bomb inside the storm would just give it more shrapnel to throw around. Unless God himself enlists in the military, they can't do anything about the weather.

How can you stop a hurricane???

And I believe that even if you could stop something like that, I don't believe God would have allowed it to be stopped. I think hurricane Katrina was a wake-up call to New Orleans, and to the rest of the US. think of all the horrible stuff that goes on there, and in other parts of the US.

That is just my personal opinion.

When you learn how to control the weather, I'm sure the military would love to hear about it.

i think of when you consider that he has slightly much less experience on the full "working the loose international" component, he in all probability might've relied greater on his advisors than his experience. if so, the counselors in all probability have greater huge awareness and that they might've reacted slightly quicker. i've got confidence too lots experience ends up in too lots ego. i've got confidence poor for each thing that got here approximately, yet everybody in New Orleans knew it grew to become into coming for a minimum of 40 8 hours. To have maximum of persons refuse to depart and think of that "oh no longer something undesirable will take place" grew to become right into a annoying lesson to be discovered, yet i'm advantageous next time a hurricane heads for the Gulf, they are going to come across a fashion out. Even people who had 'no way out' will in all probability get on their ft and initiate walking this time.

They did explode the nukes in the hurricane. But the resulting explosion took out many more lives, homes, and oil rigs than were necessary. Our government is not reporting this and won't. But just look at the rise in oil prices, that's because the oil rigs were blown up. And now, New Orleans is so radio active, they can't get in there to rebuild for a while----sorry--got carried away with the Cinderella question.

you have the military confused with God. Don't worry, they often make the same mistake.

If you want to enter a tornado to detonate a bomb, be my guest.

A popular misconception is that the military is all powerful. If they could stop a hurricane - they could stop cancer.

It's amusing how T.V. teaches you that you can pretty much blow up anything, ranging from a toilet to Jupiter's Great Storm...
