hello i recived the depo shot once. my three months are over now thank god ... i started having cramps, and spotting around two weeks later after my last shot was over i began to spot lightly. it only lasterd for about 3 days because then me and my bf had unprotected sex ( he finish in me ) and the spotting stop immeditly no spotting what so ever after that day .. whats going on could i be pregnant ????????????

I know I'm not answering your question, but I'd rather be helpful then just give you medical facts about depo. What would be MOST helpful in your situation is a change in lifestyle.

Just bc you stopped spotting doesn't mean you are pregnant. The fact that you didn't go back for the second shot gives you a larger chance of being pregnant though. Its pretty unlikely though, because depo is over 99.9% effective. I would wait a week or so, and then take a pregnancy test. If you are still worried after that, go to your OBGYN.

A friend of mine was on depo for 9 months and in the middle of her shot (she had a month to go before getting another one) and ended up in the e/r because she didn't feel well...come to find out ,she was pregnant. Nothing is full-proof.

I would wait a couple of weeks and then get a hpt. It might me too soon to tell right now. And in the future use protection. I would get on some kind of bc. I don't recommend the depo shot it is verry bad. I had soo many problems with my kidneys and bladder when I was on it.

It would be hard to tell if you were pregnant now but it is highly possible. My daughter ended up having an ectopic pregnancy because she failed to get the shot on time. Protect yourself as soon as possible.

if you think your pregnant youll feel things in your stomach like little guppys lol but take about 4 or 5 pregnancy test and see good luck ttyl
