Its for this story I'm writing. I need different names for some guys in it so well thats what I came up with.
If you have any suggestions for good or evil names i am not holding you back.

yes Lucius sounds very dark. a few others Akuji (dead & awake), Kione (someone who comes from nowhere), Than (death)

No. Lucius is a widely acceptable name and it does not sound evil. It makes me think of Lucius Fox from the Batman movies, actually. :D He was a good guy! It's not like it's derived from Lucifer or anything like that so no, it's not evil! I love Lucius!

Kind of evil, but for me, that association is mainly from the Lucius Malfoy character in the Harry Potter books.
Since you're writing a story, I'd choose a different name -- just so no one thinks you've ripped off J.K. Rowling.

One of the major evil characters in the Harry Potter series is Lucius. I would hate to have people think you were a copycat.

Sounds that way. I have a good friend named Lucius. His son is also named Lucius. I used to think it sounded evil but now im used to it.

I wouldn't name anybody Lucius because of Lucius Malfoy of Harry Potter (He's in Azkaban)

Not too scary.

I like the common evil name damien, but I like the ones from mythology too, like:
Pluto
Hades
Seth
Osiris
Those are the gods of the underworld in various mythologys. Seth is not though, all i know is that he had numorous acts of evil in his myths.

Lucius is good for that character. But, I would NEVER name a real child that! LOL :)

lol well if you are influenced by Harry Potter, then definitely. To me, it sounds evil. But then again, I am influenced by Harry Potter =)
