Ford had a stroke in 1938 but returned to run the company after his son, Edsel Ford, died in 1943. After suffering a second stroke Henry Ford turned his company over to his second son. Henry Ford died at home 7 April 1947.
I couldn’t discover whether either of these strokes occurred while watching a film.
Nor could I discover whether the electricity was out the night he died, but since he had two strokes it is doubtful that electricity would have been out both times.

Henry Ford died along time ago but I doubt he was watching TV since the electricity was out the night he died.
