For next season and the years after that, who would you rather have?

Definetely Frank Gore, i mean he is going to be one of the top players in fantasy leagues for years to come now, because people have realized how much talent he has. He is capable of huge games, and is capable of breaking off big runs. He is very young, and thats a big plus, and he is in the easiest division in the league. BUT Alexander is in the same division, and he will have a good year, but i am not sold on him being healthy all year. He is very fragile, but he also has a very good line blocking for him. Basically, Gore will have the better season because he is younger ans has more to give than Alexander, not saying that Alexander wont have a big season, but i see Gore having the better one.

Shaun Alexander. He gets the ball almost every time the Seahawks are in the redzone. Frank Gore is good and gets a lot of yards, but the 49ers don't use him as much in the endzone because he is not a power back and he fumbles the ball too much when they do let him try to score in the redzone. I have watched Alexander play a lot. he didn't do well last season, but before that he has been consistent his whole career. He could be the best RB in the NFL if he stays healthy.

I'd say Frank Gore because last season was his breakout season and I think the only thing he will do is get better and better. Alexander is good but he seems to be getting a little old. I had Frank Gore last year and he was the main reason (and phillip rivers) why I won my league. Unless Gore gets in foul trouble he will be one of the powerful backs for years to come.

Shaun Alexander

Shaun alexander will be the better choice. He's always produced as long as the injury bug has stayed away. Plus, Shaun is much more TD prone than Gore. For each TD, the RB has to rush for 120 yards. That's a lot of running.

Frank Gore. Alexander will have another year like last year. Gore is younger and the 49ers have improved the O-line and Alex Smith will take some pressure off of the running game.

Alexander will bounce back in a major way, he is still a great player who just had a foot problem last year. He still plays for a better team, and i would put money on him leading the NFC in yards and td's again. Gore will get his, but may not quite put up the same numbers as last year if he is asked to carry the same load. Alexander is proven and potent, and this year, no madden curse.

I'm a Seahawk fan and I have to say F.Gore for a keeper league. Alexander is still good for a couple of years but Gore is so young. Alexander is on the downhill of his career.

Next season, I'd say Shaun. For years to come, definitely Gore because he's younger and the 49ers are improving their offense (incld. O-line).
