Some times Oscars will do things like that for no apparent reason at all. As long as he is eating and can swim when he wants to, I wouldn't worry about it. If he stops eating, or can't seem to control how he is swimming, then you may well have a problem.

My Oscar has executed this until now. yet..he will eat each and every feeder yet one in specific. i think of of my oscar have been given tired of chasing him, then grew to love him. I no longer use feeders- there no longer the substantial preserve decision for this very reason. If a feeder would not get eaten quickly, the stress of residing in a tank with a "hunter", or if the feeder replaced into sick to initiate with, illness can in the present day grab carry of your tank.

this is a normal activity for a oscer, you can check the ph of the water, but they have personality problems and feel depressed at times. as long as he is eating he is ok. try giving him a treat of a live fish or other live treat to chase and brighten his mood.

i think its alright. my dads used to act like they were drunk. i dont think the things ever die. my dad had them for years and he wanted to get rid of them so he could start a salt tank. he put one of the old ones in a bad (he was acting like he was going to die anyway) it sat in the garage all night without water and in the morning he was still flopping. !! i am totaly seriouse and dont know how he did it!!
