Is anyone baby on Prosobee?? My baby has acid reflux and the new thickened formula seemed to work for a week but she has kinda gone back to the way she was. What reasons are babys put on Prosobee???

i put mine on prosebee because she was waaay too fussy after every feeding. when i switched, she was so much better!

Prosobee is a soy bean based formula. Usually babies are put on Prosobee when there is a concern that they might be allergic to cows milk formulas.
Sometimes a baby doesn't actually have a cows milk allergy but they are put on Prosobee because they are fussy, gassy or having any other problem with the formula that they are on.
Thickened formulas are good for reflux, some doctors recommend that rice cereal be added to formula.
If the reflux isn't getting better then tell your doctor. There are medications and other formulas that might work for your baby.

When my daughter was a baby (21 years ago) she seemed to have a problem of crying continually after feeding prosobee stopped the problem which was a relief possibly a lactose intolerance do not know for sure just know it worked

my son was put on prosobee he also has acid reflux and has rice cereal in his bottles with in 3 days of going on soy based formula he changed and became a happy baby.

my son is on prosobee. he started out on enfamil lipil with iron and it constapated him so now hes on prosobee lipil and it works great
