a. 25 X 2 = 100 cups (total)
Use a proportion.
7(x) = 100 (3)
7x = 300
x = 42.9, round to 43 cups of punch mix.
b. Use a proportion.
42.9 (7) = 3x
300 = 3x
x= 100 cups of water.
c. Use a proportion.
100 = 20x
x = 50 bowls.

You guys are making this too hard... notice it's liquid drink mix... in other words 7 cups of water plus 3 cups of mix equal 10 cups of punch
You need 50 cups of punch, that would be a) 15 cups of mix b) 35 cups of water and c) 3 bowls

25 times 2 = 50
3cups mix/7 cups water xcups mix/50 cups water
cross multiply 7x cups mix/150
x cups mix = 150/7
= 21.43 cups of mix to 50 cups of water
need 3 bowls 1 will be half full
