While my mom and I were watching the One Tree Hill finale this weather thing scrolled across the screen and then a computer voice came over and read the scroll so you couldn't hear what they were saying. It was the scene were Nathan and Lucas were talking-after Lucas whispered his secret to Haley. What was the secret? Did they say, if not what did Lucas and Nathan say? Thanks for helping me!

Lucas and Nathan consider visiting Dan in his cell (as Karen did, saying she will one day have to explain that Lily's daddy was killed by the little brother he loved so much), but they ultimately decide that they will never visit him. Brooke and Lucas are named the godparents to James, and Lucas reveals that he will be Whitey's assistant coach at Nathan's college. The season ends much as the first season began: with a pick-up basketball game on the river court, this time guys vs. girls.

the secret was that Lucas will be Whitey's assistant coach at the school Nathan will play for. He (Lucas) told Nathan that he better play well on Dec 9th because that's the day they play Skills' team and Skills would never let them hear the end of it if he beat them.
as for the last scene of the episode, this is a correction on the above answer....the boys vs girls game was over by the time of the freeze frame. Nathan and Lucas were replaying their one-on-one game (going back to the first episode of the series) and Nathan had just gotten off a shot and Lucas was about to block it when the screen froze.
I can't wait for next season since it's going to take place four years after this season. They'll be out of college and we'll get to see if our favorite couples are still together and better yet, we'll see little James Lucas Scott and Lily Roe Scott at four years old. Can you say "awwww!!"??

The secret was that Lucas was offered a assistant coaching job by Whitey and that he's going to take it. He told Nathan that they better win December 9 or they won't here the end of it from Skills. They decide not to go visit Dan and Nathan tells Lucas that he's sadly completely cool with that.
Oh ya and the person who answered before the person before me...if you can follow that is like way off talking about Dereck and all that other stuff that happened before.

All i remember is that they came but from getting mouth. And well you know how nathan and lucus were in trouble with that one mob guy. Well Nathan admitted to cheating and not doing his best. And Lucus found out that Scott killed Keith. And now Scott and Lucus's mom are dating. That one guy who kept trying to kill Paten and Brooke is in jail and they found out that the reason he is doing that is that in his home town he had a girl friend who likes almost just like Paten. They were in a car crash on Prom night and his girlfriend died. her dad blamed him for the death. So bacially went nuts and moved to tree hill and saw Paten and thought that she was his dead girlfriend. All that's all i really remember. i hope this helps you.

the secret was that lucas is going to be co-coaching nathans college basketball team along with whitey (head coach). he actually decided this after haley asked lucas to be james's godfather. also lucas and nathan were determining wether to see dan in jail or not. in the end they decided not to. you can watch the episode at cwtv.com
