I have to say that riding is one of the most exciting and rewarding things I've ever done.
It's one of the few hobbies I can think of where I will risk death just to enjoy it. That's saying a lot.
I'd think flying might be better, but unfortunately that's very expensive.
Thoughts?

Thoughts?
I'm not gonna die from sex.
I have a big fear of falling.
But sliding on the pavement and running into cars hasn't seemed to bother me, I keep going back for more.
Exiting? Sure can be.
Rewarding? I suppose.
Enjoyable? Not a big enough word to describe it.

Yes it is the best thing ever to ride and as I have no aspiration to actually fly, then there is no comparison for me. But form those who do fly that I know and also ride, say it is actually as close as you get to flying.
And flying is expensive because of the training the hiring of the aircraft not to mention the cost of Gas, then when your training is finished you also have to pay for you rating to stay current (sort of like paying for your motorcycle/car license yearly, but for an aircraft. Not to mention the log books that will be needed to log the amount hours you do on a specific type of aircraft.) Hope you reach the dream of flying, I believe flying in a glider is like riding a motorcycle; you are close to nature and on your own in your own space.

Flying/Skydiving, Hanggliding, Cliffdiving are all better.
Flying/Skydiving is EXTREMELY expensive.
Hanggliding is EXTREMELY dangerous. I used to do it as a kid and parked one in a tree once. Updrafts can whip you up into rather chilly air if you aren't careful.
Cliffdiving is also EXTREMELY dangerous...but when I was a kid I loved it. Luckily I escaped unscathed on that one.
So now it's the motorcycle. And it's EXTREMELY rewarding.

I tend to agree except that I personally prefer sex but this is a matter of opinions. As far as flying goes, unless you are talking some boing 747, is no more expensive - a trike (FLYING trike) is about $6,000 new. I'm thinking about it quite seriously.

haha. i grew up around motorcycles, and i used to love riding on them, and i'd have to say it's a really awesome way to get around.
