You know, chuck all that your life is right now, yell "do over", and escape on a tramp steamer to some unknown Carribean island to open up a tiki bar by the sea, like in some errant Jimmy Buffet song?

This question really cracked me up, but I can see some truth in it!

I think I would ask for a do-over if I could take my husband with me. We've both had our share of financial troubles, health problems, and sheer bad luck over the years. Our family members seem to think we are "karma leeches" and that we, for some reason, take everyone else's bad karma

I do, however, feel very fortunate that we've gone through it all together and that we have still maintained a level of passion and excitement with each other. I can't imagine myself being miserable with anyone else!

It wasn't an convenient existence, and I notion of going for walks away a couple of instances. Instead, I made up our minds to turn out that S.O.B. incorrect. I stood as much as him at some point whilst I used to be sixteen. He hit me, and I hit again. He used to be stunned. I instructed him then and there that I used to be no longer going to place up with him anymore and he had to detect that I used to be a man or women that deserved appreciate. We had an extended speak after that and grew to become particularly near. Now, a few 25 years later, we're nonetheless near. Sometimes you ought to stand your floor.

Not as often as I wanted to as a kid but yeah I have wanted to. Problem is in this day and age it isn't so easy to do. Fifty or more years ago people just picked up and moved and there was little to do to trace them. Today the entire world is wired and dialed in so your creditors, your ex-wife etc can follow you no matter what you do. There are times when I am truly tempted.
